1094805800 The Air Oil Separator is a high-efficiency filter component specially designed for high-power screw air compressors of Atlas Copco [FridayParts 1094805800, Buy Machinery Parts 1094805800]. As the "last checkpoint" of the air circuit system of the air compressor, it directly determines the quality of the discharged compressed air.
Structural and Material Characteristics
• Multi-layer high-efficiency filter media: Imported ultra-fine glass fiber (such as HV from the US or Lydall glass fiber from Germany) is adopted inside as the main filter layer for deep separation based on the principles of impaction, interception and agglomeration.
• Dual-direction metal protective screens: Both the inner and outer frames are made of high-strength, corrosion-resistant thick perforated steel plates, which can withstand high pressure differential impact during unit start-up and shutdown and prevent filter element deformation.
• Integrated flange design: A large-diameter fixing flange (with sealing groove) is equipped on the top to fit closely with the top cover of the oil-gas barrel.
• Anti-static conductive pieces: The filter element is fitted with special grounding conductive gaskets or conductive pins to avoid electrostatic sparks generated by high-speed friction of oil and gas and ensure safe system operation.

Anti-static conductive piece (must not be omitted): This model is equipped with anti-static graphite gaskets or metal conductive pins. Never remove the metal piece/conductive pin on the gasket during installation. High-speed friction between oil and gas can easily generate static electricity. If the filter element is not properly grounded to the oil-gas separator cover, internal fire or even explosion may occur. • Check the oil return pipe: When replacing a new filter element, you must check whether the length and bevel of the oil return pipe (the pipe inserted into the bottom of the filter element) are intact. If the oil return pipe is blocked, broken or not fully inserted to the bottom, the accumulated oil at the bottom of the oil separator tank cannot be drawn back to the main unit, resulting in severe oil carryover in the compressed air. • Seal integrity: Thoroughly clean the residual old gasket material on the flange surface of the oil-gas separator tank, ensure the new gasket is placed flat, and tighten the bolts evenly in a diagonal sequence to prevent local air leakage.

Differential Pressure Alarm (Core Indicator): When the oil separator differential pressure (DP) displayed on the control panel reaches 0.08 MPa ~ 0.1 MPa (0.8 bar ~ 1.0 bar), replacement must be arranged immediately. Excessive differential pressure indicates severe clogging of the filter element, which will cause a sharp rise in the energy consumption of the air compressor and may even result in filter element rupture.
