02250050-604 oil separator core is a high-efficiency, internally wound oil separation component specially designed for small and medium-sized screw air compressors. It serves as the "last checkpoint" of the air compressor's air circuit system. Its performance directly determines whether the discharged compressed air is clean and whether the air compressor will frequently suffer from oil carryover (excessively fast lubricating oil consumption).
Core Advantages and Features
• Ultra-low oil content for cleaner air supply:
Multi-layer composite microfiber filter media are adopted inside the product to capture extremely fine oil mist particles. After separation, the oil content of outlet air can be strictly controlled within 2 - 3 ppm, effectively protecting downstream precision filters and gas-using equipment.
• Low-resistance structure to greatly reduce energy consumption:
The optimized filter media density and folding process keep the initial pressure differential below 0.2 bar when gas passes through. A low pressure differential means the main unit does not consume extra electric power to overcome resistance, which can save enterprises a substantial amount of electricity costs during long-term operation.
• High-strength frame against deformation and collapse:
Both inner and outer supporting frames are made of thickened perforated galvanized steel plate or stainless steel, featuring outstanding mechanical compression resistance. It can maintain structural integrity without collapsing even under instantaneous high-pressure impact during unit start-up or unloading (with a maximum withstandable pressure differential of 70 psi).
• Conductive and anti-static design for safer operation:
The filter element is equipped with a reliable electrostatic discharge (ESD) conductive device in its design, paired with high-temperature-resistant O-rings. It effectively prevents electrostatic sparks generated by friction of high-speed airflow and eliminates the risk of fire inside the air compressor.
Note di installazione
Stop the machine, release pressure and cut off power; unscrew the spin-on structure directly. Do not apply excessive torque to avoid rupturing the housing. Replace the sealing ring when it is aged. **Never wash the oil separator element**. The glass fiber filter material will fail after cleaning.
Manutenzione e sostituzione
Before startup or after a long shutdown, accumulated condensate should be drained regularly through the drain valve at the bottom of the oil-gas separator tank. Excessive water content in the lubricating oil will cause hydrolysis and emulsification of the glass fiber filter material of the oil separator core, resulting in a sharp drop in its oil separation capacity. If an air compressor operates at a high temperature above 100°C for a long time, the oxidation and deterioration of lubricating oil will be accelerated, and the resulting sludge will quickly clog the oil separator. It is recommended to control the exhaust temperature within the ideal range of 85°C - 95°C.
